For me, ceramics has always been more than just a hobby - it's a way to slow down and reconnect with the present moment. We opened this studio with a simple mission: to create a space where anyone, regardless of artistic ability, can experience that same joy.
You might be wondering about our name. In the world of pottery, "bizcocho" refers to the clay after its first firing - a blank canvas waiting to be painted. It represents potential, a fresh start, and the beginning of something beautiful.
We are thrilled to have found our home in the center of Gijón on Calle Uría, just a short walk from San Lorenzo beach. We designed this space to be a sanctuary from busy city life - a place where you can put down your phone, pick up a brush, and let your creativity flow.
